Chesterfield County could be one of the largest localities in the Commonwealth of Virginia to endorse the #2AStrong Gun Sanctuary Movement joining thirty other counties in voicing their opposition to the proposed gun confiscation and criminalization of gun ownership by the Virginia General Assembly.
Supporters of the 2A movement are mobilizing in Chesterfield County to make sure that the county drafts a 2A resolution. The movement has been growing every week as more counties adopt such resolutions.
Chesterfield County has a population of around 380,000 and is one of the largest localities in the Commonwealth outside of Northern Virginia. Its Board is predominately Republican.
Chesterfield County will have its monthly Board of Supervisors meeting and the last of the year on December 11th from 6:00-9:00PM.
