Shared Fates: Israel Honors Those Lost on 9/11

Over the last six months,  politics regarding the relationship between the United States and the State of Israel has been center stage as the New American Progressive Left has launched concerted efforts to undermine the relationship that exists between the two allies.

Progressives advocacy for the Boycott, Divestment and Sanction (BDS) movement over how they perceive Israel to be an oppressive State with its regard for areas they claim belong to Palestinians. In fact, the Progressive movement in America has aligned itself with the plight of the Palestinians without regard for historical truth or regional stability. Throughout 2019, there have been a steady flow of anti-Israel and anti-Semitic tweets and statements by the likes of Representatives Ilhan Omar MN-5 and Rashida Tlaib MI-13.

In August, both Omar and Tlaib were denied entry to the State of Israel just weeks after they introduced legislation in the 116th Congress that would in effect endorse economic terrorism upon our greatest ally in the Middle East region.

Israel and America stand together and have re established a strong relationship in part due to the election of Donald Trump. Trump has been a good partner with Israel and was driving force in relocating the United States Embassy in Israel to Jerusalem. Trump recognized Jerusalem as the capital of Israel in December 2017 much to the dismay of Progressives.

Israel is the only nation in the world other than the United States that has a monument or memorial commemorating the 9/11 tragedy where suicidal jihadists weaponized commercial aircraft in a terror attack upon America.

Israel's 9/11 Living Memorial located in Arazim Valley in Jerusalem Park lists the fallen of all those who lost their life on September 11, 2001. The bronze memorial is some thirty foot tall with an American flag atop actual metal shard from the Twin Towers.

Israel and America are united in the war against Islamic Fundamentalism and understand that terror is the weapon used to halt progress, prosperity, morality and peace in the world.

Progressive have at every turn attempted to undermine the relationship between the United States and Israel. Their goal is not merely to change America with its socialistic policies but to deliver the land of Israel to a Palestinian State that is comprised of Iranian backed terror networks in Hamas and Hezbollah. Not only have these Progressives sought to diminish the remembrance of 9/11 in  the United States but it continually seeks to portray Israel as an evil oppressor and diminish the Holocaust while creating deceitful narratives like Arabs in present day territories of Israel aided the Jewish people during World War II when in fact they worked with Nazi Germany and its Final Solution.

In then end,  both the United States and Israel understand they share same fates together as America is home to almost 40% of the worlds Jewish population.

And through the fight; WE WILL STAND!

#StandWithICE: Sanctuary Policies of Montgomery County, MD On Full Display

It is apparent that the Democrat nominee for President in 2020 will endorse the Progressive policy of Open Borders and "Sanctuary" cities throughout the country. A "Sanctuary" a city is one whose municipal laws tend to protect undocumented immigrants from deportation or prosecution, despite federal immigration laws. These areas become magnets for illegals within the United States.

Progressives are advocating for these areas at the same time they seek free healthcare and tuition for illegal or "undocumented" aliens who are present within the United States without legal standing.No more are the issues beset a locality with "sanctuary" status on display today than Montgomery County, MD which is the largest locality in the State just outside the District of Columbia. So much that citizens are beginning to push back against the local council for the policies that it determined to implement via executive order in July.

Citizens are struggling with why a declaration of "sanctuary" status was required by County Executive Marc Elrich on July 25, 2019. At no time during the most recent campaign had Elrich voiced his desire to use executive authority to restrict Montgomery County law enforcement from any interaction with federal authorities with regard to illegal immigrants. The very measure itself illustrates the fact that illegal immigrants exist within the County at such levels that the County Council sought to protect them from interactions with Immigration Customs Enforcement.

Marc Elrich reinforced his predecessor County Executive Ike Leggett measures halting cooperation between Montgomery County and federal authorities in 2014. It begs the question why Elrich felt compelled to use executive authority over holding a public hearing or town hall to garner public consensus on the matter and alleviate the concerns with regard to public safety and security.

Montgomery County as it stands will not comply with an ICE detainer- an administrative warrant of arrest for a person to be held upon conclusion of local judicial interaction for 48 hours to enable federal authorities to come and place the individual in custody. Marc Elrich has stated that it is his contention that holding an individual in such manner is unconstitutional. Thus, he has ordered his law enforcement to not cooperate with federal authorities nor honor or respect any detainers.

This Friday in Rockville, MD  Concerned Citizens Coalition of Montgomery County and #StandWithICE supporters are planning to protest the actions undertaken by Montgomery County authorities that has experienced the arrest of eight illegal immigrants having committed rape and or sexual assault against women and children some with prior felonies or charges. Even though the status of these individuals are known and in the United States unlawfully, Montgomery County officials refuse to turn over individuals to ICE on detainers to determine whether they should be deported. Citizens are not only outraged over the rise of crime in the area but also the expenses associated on meeting the demands upon the County by a rising illegal population migrating to the area.

Some residents of Montgomery County are working hard for a ballot initiative that will require 10,000 signatures by July 2020 in order for the public at large to be heard. The stresses placed on the County infrastructures by a rising illegal immigrant population resulting from the 2014 measures must be addressed and discussed openly engaging the public. However, Montgomery County officials have retaliated against opposition to its policy by characterizing its own citizens as "neo Nazis" and "xenophobic" and has challenged both the White House and ICE for its characterizations of what is transpiring throughout the County.

County Executive Marc Elrich refuses to answer to the public nor hold a town hall meeting let alone debate the issue regarding his executive order.

Things have reach such a level of contention that Frederick County, MD Sheriff Chuck Jenkins who must police his County located north of Montgomery County has stated that what Marc Elrich has done is "effectively is jeopardize public safety throughout central part of Maryland".

Citizens will attempt to be heard and recognized by the County Council Friday outside the County Offices on Maryland Avenue in Rockville with the support of Michelle Malkin and WMAL's Larry O'Connor who have been consisted detractors of Progressive policies that in effect promote Open Borders and Sanctuary cities throughout the country.

North Carolina Special Elections: "Pro-Life, Pro-Gun, Pro-Wall" WINS

North Carolina has completed its Special Elections in its 3rd and 9th Congressional Districts and Conservative Republicans have won both seats in the House of Representatives. The 3rd District was a race that was never in doubt in terms of Republican control but the 9th was advertised to be a referendum on President Trump by the Progressive media via CNN and MSNBC.

The Special Election for the 9th District was an election where both President Trump and Vice President Pence campaigned and held rallies on behalf of the Republican candidate Dan Bishop. Bishop is former North Carolina State Senator for the 39th District which in part is within the 9th Congressional District. Bishop actively campaigned as a "Pro-Life, Pro-Gun, Pro-Wall" candidate facing Democrat Dan McCready.

McCready had run in the general election last Fall that was invalidated. McCready had narrowly lost in that race but had built up a formidable grassroots campaign over the course of 2018 that carried over into yesterdays election whereas Republican Dan Bishop secured his nomination last Spring through the primary process. Dan McCready campaigned as a "moderate" voice in the Democrat Party and ran on a "Country over Party" campaign but it appears as though many voters considered the ineffectiveness of the 116th Congress to lead on issues impacting their lives and sending McCready to Washington would simply result in more of the same.

The race tightened in the last few weeks of the race and Democrat support for McCready held in urban areas like Mecklenburg County where he garnered a twelve point advantage earning 36,986 votes. In contrast, Bishop earned 36,165 votes in Union County but managed to earn five thousand more votes(28,760) in Mecklenburg County than McCready did in Union (23,751). In the end this is where the difference (2%) was won.

Battle for the Commonwealth: What Progressive Media Will Not Tell You

This November every seat in the Virginia General Assembly will be on the ballot for voters to determine the fate of the Commonwealth ultimately for years to come. The Democrat Party of Virginia currently has control of the Executive until 2021 having the "trifecta" of members holding positions as Governor, Lt. Governor and Attorney General. With every Assembly seat in both chambers on the ballot, the Democrats have the opportunity to build on the House seats that were secured in 2018 and potentially flip the Virginia Senate which currently is held by the Republicans 21-19.

With just over two months remaining of campaigning for the Battle for the Commonwealth, candidates are out canvassing and talking with Virginians in one of the most contested elections in recent years for control of the General Assembly. The future of the Commonwealth is at stake given the upcoming Census 2020 and the fact that the Party controlling the Executive and Assembly will be able to re draw district lines that will impact elections for the next decade. With 2019 being such a pivotal election cycle it is important not only to follow the media coverage but also consider what the media is not telling you.

One of the biggest elements of this election cycle in Virginia not being covered by virtually any of the major media outlets throughout the Commonwealth and especially the large urban news media covering this years election is the fact that the Democrat Party of Virginia's continued portrayal of the Republican Party as being void of diversity in 2019 rings hollow.

Progressive media outlets have long portrayed the Republican Party of Virginia as the "rural" Party. Rural often used as a racially charged code word. Republicans routinely are criticized by Progressive political columnists of not representing the "diversity" of the Commonwealth.

Translation. Republicans are not running African Americans, Hispanics or Female candidates.

It has become apparent that the media either failed to get the memo or are intentionally ignoring the dozens of candidates that Republican Party now has on its bench and running this November in both chambers to represent Virginians. If you consider the primaries as well where candidates run against others within their own Party to secure the nomination in the General Election in November, the number of minority and female candidates is growing in the Republican Party of Virginia under the blind eye of the Virginia Progressive media machine.

But those are just some of the candidates running for the General Assembly. This November there are literally hundreds of minority candidates all across the Commonwealth running as Republicans for local offices like Board of Supervisors, City Councils and School Boards.

Do not expect the Progressive media to cover these candidates. It has its own narrative that it likes to write as truth as it continues to ignore the reality on the ground in Virginia that while the media refuses to cover the very racially insensitive actions of members of the Democrat Party of Virginia and hold them accountable the Progressive media will attempt to once again portray the Republican Party as " diverse challenged".

Its a constant refrain by the media in an attempt to manipulate voters through perverse identity politics.

National Defense Authorization Act: What Virginia Democrats Do Not Want Voters To Know

The Commonwealth of Virginia has one of the larger military and veteran populations in the continental United States. It is not uncommon for the most contested debates within Virginia Congressional races centering around Virginia's economic dependence upon the military and veterans who reside within the State. Many of these issues center around military and defense spending but also in recent years we have seen debates over healthcare, VA funding and coming up gun control will certainly be a significant issue that may impact veteran voting in 2020.

As of 2014, the Commonwealth of Virginia is home to 720,000 veterans out of a population of 8.5 million residents. The nation is home to 18.8 million veterans or about 7.6% of the U.S. populations. Many of these veterans retire and live in the eastern region of Virginia which is home to the Norfolk Naval bases and military installations located in the Virginia House District VA-2 held by freshman Representative Elaine Luria (D). Luria defeated incumbent Scott Taylor (R) in a tight race 51-49 backed in large part by the urban areas of Norfolk City (60-40), Williamsburg City (71-28) and large Democrat turnout in Virginia Beach City 51-49. Luria however, is not the only Democrat Representative in Virginia with significant veteran or active duty military populations impacted by the recent Nation Defense Authorization Act 2020 passed by the House of Representatives.

The Act not only directly impacts the lives of active duty military but also hundreds of thousands of jobs filled by "civilians" working with the military as well as defense contractors and services especially in Northern Virginia region and the Eastern Region of the Commonwealth.

So it begs the question what is the reality of many of the provisions endorsed by the Democrat Congressional Delegation regarding the National Defense Authorization Act 2020? The Act itself is massive 733 billion dollar piece of legislation with some 58 Amendments to the bill itself endorsed by every House Democrat representing Virginia to include the following: #vapolitics #vablue

None of the Virginia Republican Congressional Delegation supported the NDAA along with eight other Democrats and one independent from outside the Commonwealth of Virginia. #ndaa

The House of Representative version of the Act was roughly 17 million dollars less than the Senate version and included various Amendments that in truth had little to do with "national defense" and more to do with national politics.

Many should remember the correlation Democrats in Virginia are making between President Obama and President Trumps's campaign promises. Obama promised to close GITMO (Guantanamo Bay, Cuba) and yet at least two of the potential Democrat nominees today to run for President opposed Obama on at least two occasions regarding closure funding. Both Sen. Bernie Sanders  and Sen. Elizabeth Warren opposed measures in the Senate while both Sen. Cory Booker and Sen. Amy Klobuchar supported Obama's proposals. Ultimately Obama did not fulfill his campaign promises to close GITMO. #gitmo

Now almost three years later, Democrats seek to ensure that President Trump's campaign promise to "build the wall" is unrealized. To Democrats its about politics not national defense or security. Democrats in Virginia have made their views heard loud and clear with vote after vote regarding any attempt to fund the wall, complete the wall or increase border security. Some appear to endorse the elimination of Immigration Customs and Enforcement (ICE) all together. #ICE

The annual remembrance of 9/11 is upon us. Lets remember that in the context of reviewing just some of the measures approved by the 116th Congress and Virginia Democrats who frankly very well may face judgement by many voters in 2020 that are not aligned with exactly what the Virginia Democrats actually supported with their vote for the NDAA 2020.

Democrats have long sought to close GITMO which currently houses 40 terror detainees. In fact, Democrats authorized the elimination of restrictions of detaining "terror" captures within U.S. borders. They no longer wish to have terror detainees housed in Camp VI on the naval base at Guantanamo Bay, Cuba but prefer to have such detainees moving forward housed within our borders.

Representative Adam Smith (D-WA) has endorsed the measure wholeheartedly and in fact prefers the closure of the facility and removal of detainees to facilities in the United States. Virginia Democrats agree.

The Virginia Democrats listed above endorsed the Act and Amendments that included measures that "restrict" the Executive Branch from action. Democrats used the National Defense Authorization Act to send a political message to Republicans in a number of areas that frankly the mainstream media is failing to cover because the measures are clearly controversial to many Americans including active duty military families and veterans.

1. Prohibiting the sale of munitions to our allies in the Middle East combating terror and the Houthi regime in Yemen  #Houthi
  * After two years of criticizing Trump for not establishing coalitions with allies Virginia Democrats seek to eliminate funding that permit allies to fight the war on terror and very well could result in the U.S. having to commit forces in coming years. Meanwhile the humanitarian crisis continues.

2. Prohibiting the Executive from deploying Troops on the Southern Border of the United States in cases of emergency or declaration  #openborders
   * Both President Bush and Obama sent troops to the southern border. So Democrats support restricting the National Guards in States like Texas, Arizona and California activation to protect citizens along the border.

3. Decreased funding for Overseas Contingency Operations (OCO) by 16.8 billion
   * Democrats routinely criticize Trump for making country "less safe and vulnerable" as result of his diverting funds to border yet decrease spending on overseas operations to combat terror worldwide

4. Prohibit the Defense Department from housing a foreign national detained or delivered by ICE.
    * restricts military from housing a terror detainee captured at the border attempting to enter the country illegally to commit a planed attack on America

5.Prohibits the Defense Department from housing or treating medically  unaccompanied children detained at border #humantraffiking
    * Democrats have criticized Trump and ICE for its care of illegal immigrants yet with 11,000 unaccompanied children detained at border without adults wants to live these children in hands of the very organization they claim are not performing meanwhile U.S. Military installations have far superior facilities and healthcare

6. Virginia Democrats failed to approve Amendment to increase Military personnel pay by 4%

Thus, in endorsing the National Defense Authorizations Act of 2020, Virginia Democrats have in effect passed measures that very well leave Americans "less safe and vulnerable" as they have used the ACT to address political differences with the Trump over the national defense and national security of the United States.

Democrats have sought to prevent Trump from securing the border at every step the past two years and furthermore have now thwarted operations in the Middle East with eliminating additional contingency funding, left our allies unsupported in operations against Islamic fundamentalists bent on death and destruction in Yemen including mass genocide of women and children and denying our military who has born the brunt of the war on terror the last twenty years while many of these Virginia Democrats have sacrificed nothing.

Battle for the Commonwealth: Virginia Democrats Target Senate Seats

This November every seat in the Commonwealth of Virginia General Assembly is on the ballot for consideration. Two years ago the Virginia Democrats were successful in "flipping" seats in the General Assembly one year after Governor Northam (D) was elected Governor of the Commonwealth.

The Virginia Senate consists of 40 seats which represent  roughly 200,000 Virginians per district and each member is elected to a four year term. Thus, the last election for the Virginia Senate was 2015 and one year before the country elected Donald Trump (R) President of the United States.

The current Virginia Senate has a Republican majority holding 21 to 19 seats.

Virginia Democrats and the Democrat Machine have targeted seven (7) Virginia Senate seats that Democrats believe that they can "flip" to Blue and have an active grassroots campaign afoot throughout the Commonwealth coupled with ACTBLUE the Progressive fundraising platform linking candidates to supporters nationwide.

Projections are that more out of state contributions will be made to Virginia candidates ever in the history of the Virginia General Assembly in both Senate and House of Delegate races.

It is a BATTLE FOR THE COMMONWEALTH!

What is at stake?

Control of the General Assembly for Virginia Democrats would provide them the trifecta having control of the Governorship until 2021. The biggest win for the Democrats would be the fact that given there is a Census in 2020, they will be able to redraw district lines to their benefit without opposition from the Republicans which would also impact Congressional races.

Per the U.S. Constitution, the country undergoes its population Census once every ten years.

Republicans are using this fact to invigorate energy into their ground game on top of being able to articulate to voters the success financially of the General Assembly under its control even with a Democrat Governor, speak to the Trump economy and highlight the Democrat scandals that have transpired in 2019.

Republicans are determined to remind voters that both Governor Northam and Attorney General Herring both have "blackface" scandals highlighting racially insensitive pasts and Democrat support for Delegate Kathy Tran's bill removing restrictions on abortions in the Commonwealth resulting in late term ( third term) abortions.

Democrats are optimistic with regard to "flipping" Senate seats given there are three GOP Senators retiring from the Senate:

Frank Wagner - SD-7
Richard "Dick" Black- SD-13
Bill Carrico- SD-40

Democrats have positioned existing, experienced Virginia Delegates to run for Senate seats in Novemeber. Three such Virginia Delegates are Cheryl Turpin (SD-7) , Debra Rodman (SD-12) and John Bell (SD-13). Republican delegate Todd Pillon from HD-4 will replace Bill Carrico on the ballot in SD-40.

In addition to Todd Pillon, six other Republicans are retiring from the House of Delegates which Democrats see as an opportunity there to potentially pick up seats in that body as well.  Two Democrats in the House other than those seeking Senate seats are retiring in David Toscano HD-57 and Mathew James HD-80.

The following  seven (7) Virginia Senate Districts have been heavily targeted by Virginia Democrats:

The District with the most money raised thus far is SD-12 comprising most of Henrico County and small portion of Hanover County. Republican incumbent Siobhan Dunnavant has raised 830,000 and Democrat challenger Del. Debra Rodman has raised 404,000.

Consider that thus far over 1.2 million dollars has been raised for a seat that pays 72,000 over four years or 18,000 per session.

Expect a ton more contributions to come in for many of these Senate Districts in the coming weeks as the election draws closer.

Rep. Abigail Spanberger (D) Betrays Trust of Constituents VA-7

Throughout campaigning in 2017 and 2018, Rep. Abigail Spanberger representing the Virginia 7th Congressional District made commitments to voters that she would work with Republicans and President Trump on issues that constituents in the VA-7 cared about. 

The Virginia 7th Congressional District historically has been held by Republicans, Former Majority Leader Eric Cantor represented the VA-7 until he was upset in a primary during the height of the Tea Party push within the Republican ranks by David Brat. Cantor had held the seat from 2001 until 2014 before losing in the Republican primary.

Part of the 2019 116th Congressional freshman class, Rep. Spanberger defeated Republican David Brat after the redistricting of the VA-7 removed Republican majority supported Hanover County precincts. Spanberger by all accounts ran a "moderate" campaign to secure the district during the post 2016 Presidential Election that witnessed President Trump defeat Hillary Clinton. Within the precincts of the VA-7, Trump won every County in the District except suburban Henrico County outside Richmond City.

In the wake of President Trump's national emergency declaration, Rep. Spanberger had a significant opportunity to demonstrate to constituents that she was willing to work with Republicans with regard to immigration and border security.

Rep. Spanberger campaigned on "passionate pragmatism" and from her Issues section of her campaign website she stated the following:

"The United States was founded as a nation of immigrants, but our current immigration system is broken. Too many politicians use immigration as a political talking point instead of actually trying to solve the problems. I am committed to finding real, bipartisan solutions to fix our immigration system, and I will work with anyone to create a proposal for immigration reform that ensures border security, takes into account the needs of our workforce, respects our values and history, gives certainty to DACA recipients, and creates an earned pathway to legal status for undocumented immigrants currently living here as long as they abide by the law, work hard, and pay taxes.As a CIA officer, I worked counter-terrorism and international drug trafficking cases. I understand the security threats we face, and I know we can secure our borders and points of entry without breaking from American values or tearing families apart. I will advocate for border security policies that use cutting edge technology, together with trained officers and physical infrastructure to ensure our nation’s security at our borders and points of entry.As a former federal agent, I oppose any efforts to create safe havens for violent criminals. In February after President Trump issued a national emergency declaration to address the "border crisis", Spanberger voice opposition to the President stating that "the national emergency declaration was a drastic overstep of Executive authority". She went further and co sponsored bill with Rep. Joaquin Castro (D) TX20 to dismiss the proclamation.

In June, the Federal District Court in Washington DC with Judge Trevor McFadden on the bench upheld Trumps ability to move Defense funds for use on the border to address the national emergency.

Rep. Spanberger spent the better part of the Spring denying the crisis or "emergency" on the border even after Speaker Pelosi stated there was a "humanitarian crisis". In the following weeks, Democrats shift from denying the emergency exists on the border to finally acknowledging what the Trump administration and the Department of Homeland Security has been stating for six months.

My mid summer, Spanberger made trips to the southern border and suddenly her language changed from denying a national emergency or working with Republicans for border security and wall funding as she stated she would in her campaigning. Spanberger's visit followed the month of Mays immigration statistics that showed 132,887 illegals were detained of which over 11,000 were "unaccompanied" children. This represented the first time since 2007 that the totals had eclipsed 100,000. In fact since October 2018 and a mere month before Spanberger defeated David Brat (R) up until her visit some 700,000 apprehensions had taken place at the border by the U.S. Border Patrol.

In July, Spanberger stated "there is a crisis in terms of the number of people coming across and lack of capacity" to accommodate the illegal immigrants and further stated that the capacity ability was "overcrowded and over stressed".

To most voters in the Virginia 7th Congressional District that would translate to an "emergency".Instead of determining to work with Republicans in the House and the President, Spanberger opted to align herself with Rep. Castro who stated "instead of breaking up families we should break up ICE" (Immigration and Customs Enforcement). Apparently both Castro and Spanberger ignored the fact that over 11,000 children entered U.S territory "unaccompanied" by parents or adults. Neither offer any solution to address that situation but rather doubled down on the Progressive narrative that U.S. Border agents are breaking up families.

Not only did Rep. Spanberger fail to offer solutions, ideas or work with Republicans after visiting the border but she would state publicly that "our broken immigration system was on display" with regard to her trip yet offered up no attempts to put the country before Party.

This isn't new for Rep. Abigail Spanberger. Since not supporting Speaker Pelosi for the Speakership as promised to constituents, Spanberger has voted with Nancy Pelosi 94% of the time. Furthermore, Spanberger has voted with  fellow Progressive freshman Rep. Ilhan Omar (MN-5) and Rep. Rashida Tlaib. (MI-13) 88% of the time and Gerald Connolly (VA-11) 92% of time. #Tlaib

How often has she voted with Congressman Ben Cline (R) VA-6? Only 32% of the time.

Rep. Abigail Spanberger promised voters in the Virginia Congressional District that she would work with Republicans on issues like immigration. Unfortunately, Spanberger continues to betray the trust constituents placed in her November 2018.
